地点状语从句是英语九种状语从句之一，它与修饰名词的表示地点的定语从句截然不同，例如：This is the house where I lived when I was in childhood. 这个句子where引导的句子是定语从句，说明限定house, 即定语从句修饰名词，充当定语。
然而地点状语从句是修饰主句中的动词，表示在哪里发生该动作，如：
He followed her wherever she went. 这里where she went是状语从句，与followed相关，做其状语，因此是地点状语从句，告诉我们事情在哪里发生。
最常用的地点状语从句的连接词有：
