“第六届全国创新英语作文大赛”正式开赛

“全国创新英语作文大赛”由教育部高校学生司指导、中国高校招生研究会主办的《高校招生》杂志社与北京大学、清华大学、北京师范大学等多所名牌高校联合举办，迄今已成功举办了五届。
“全国创新英语作文大赛”自创办以来，始终秉承“推进素质教育，培养创新人才，逐步改变以高考分数为惟一选才标准的模式，探索多元选拔优秀人才的机制，为在英语方面学有专长的同学提供向高校展示自己才能机会”的宗旨，得到了高校和考生的广泛认同。
为协调高三学生高考复习与参赛的矛盾，给学生参赛提供更多便利，此项大赛启动时间为每年3～4月之间，复赛安排在暑假期间（8月）进行，所有高中学生均可报名参赛。
现将大赛有关事项通知如下。
一、活动组织：

二、参赛对象：全国高中学生。
三、评选方式：大赛分为初赛和复赛。初赛作品由参与高校英语专业教师和重点中学英语教师组成的评审组评审，按成绩排序，从高到低评出一定比例人数（原则上不超过500名）为复赛选手。参加复赛的考生须按大赛组委会通知要求，统一集中到指定地点接受现场复赛测试（时间、地点另行通知）。复赛成绩按从高到低排序，取实际参赛的前30％（原则上不超过150名）优秀学生为本届大赛优胜者。进入复赛选手均发给“复赛证明”。复赛全程由复赛举办地公证处监督。

注：
1、答题纸请统一用A4纸(21cm*29.6cm)工整手写或打印。
2、答题纸与“参赛表”装订在一起，答题纸上不写姓名、地址等任何信息，也不得做任何标记，否则该答卷作废。
3、作文标题自拟，字数在300字左右。
五、参赛办法：参赛考生填写好“参赛表”（须加盖所在中学公章），并在2007年6月10日以前（以寄出地邮戳为准）将参赛表（请按要求详细填写）和初赛作品一同寄往《高校招生》杂志社。初赛作品请独立完成。本次大赛初赛收取60元/人评卷费，每人仅限一篇作文参赛（重复投递视为废卷）。初赛评卷费在寄参赛作文的同时通过邮局汇至杂志社（汇款请在附言内注明“大赛”字样，汇款人一律写参赛选手姓名并请注明选手地址，请勿采用加密方式汇款，切勿在信封内夹寄现金）。
六、奖励：学生参加此项大赛并获“优胜者”，可自动获得参加大赛高校“自主招生”测试资格或其它部分非自主招生高校相应录取优惠条件，经该校自主招生测试（审查）合格后，按该校自主招生办法录取。(详见主办高校公布的<招生章程>)

七、各高校优惠条件：参加本届大赛各高校的优惠条件将在2007年10月起陆续公布在《高校招生》杂志及新浪网“高校招生杂志社”博客网页（http://blog.sina.com.cn/ccua）。
八、大赛日程：
1、初赛时间：2007年4月10日至2007年6月10日。
2、初赛结果公布时间：2007年7月10日后在新浪网等相关媒体上公布复赛名单，复赛名单不逐一通知。
3、复赛时间、地点：公布复赛名单时同时公布复赛时间和地点。
九、几点说明：
1、“参赛表”刊登在《高校招生》杂志2007年第6期杂志上（高考升学版），参赛考生也可在“高校招生杂志社”博客网页（http://blog.sina.com.cn/ccua）下载，该表复制有效。表格上的每项内容都必须详细填写。
2、初赛、复赛所有参赛稿件的处理权均归《高校招生》杂志社所有。
