ASoundofThunderisasciencefictionfilmreleasedin2005,anddirectedbyPeterHyams.Thefilmwasplannedoriginallyfora2002release.However,floodinginPrague(wheretheproductionwasfilmed)andotherfinancialdifficulties—includingthebankruptcyoftheoriginalproductioncompanyduringpost-production—resultedinadelayedrelease.ASoundofThunderisbasedontheshortstory"ASoundofThunder"byRayBradbury.Thefilmisabout"timetourists"whoaccidentallyinterferetoomuchwiththepastandthuscompletelyaltertheirpresent.Plot情节BusinessmanCharlesHatton(BenKingsley)hasrecentlyofferedatimetourismservice.Foranextraordinaryprice,TimeSafariwilltakeclientsthroughawormholetothepasttohuntdinosaurs.ScientistTravisRyer(EdwardBurns)istheleaderoftheseexpeditions,alongwithseveralotherguides.Thefollowingprotocolsaresetout:Don'tchangeanythinginthepast.Don'tleaveanythingbehind.Don'tbringanythingback.TofurtherensurethatEarth'sevolutionarytimelinewillnotbedisturbed,onlycreaturesthatarealreadydoomed—suchasdinosaursabouttodieinavolcaniceruption—canbekilled.Theparticipantsmustwearhelmetswithsealedfaceplates(likeastronauts)anduseriflesthatfirefrozen-nitrogenbulletsthatmelt,leavingnotrace.Thewormholeitselfcreatesapaththatphysicallyseparatesthepartyfromtouchingtheground,andonwhichtheymustremain.Ononeexcursion,theguidesareescortingapartyofwealthyclientsthatincludestwofriends.Oneofthemen,whoisextremelynervous,issurprisedbyaprehistoricbutterflywhichhetriestoshootwhenitfluttersclosetohishelmet.Helearnsthathisweaponwillnotfire,asallsafaripatronweaponsaretiedremotelytoRyer's.Healonecanfirefirst,therebydeactivatingthesafetyfeatureonthetourists'rifles.Thegroupgathersbeforealargetarpit,waitingfortheirprey.Asscheduled,theyarechargedbyanAllosaurus,butthesafetyonRyer'srifledoesnotdeactivateandnobodyisabletofire.Panicking,thetwowealthytouristsrunofftoseekcover.Ryerandtheguidesdistractthedinosaur,whilequicklyexchanginggunpartsinordertoslaythebeast.Thepartyreturnsthroughthetimeportal.Unseen,afootprintoftaronthepathindicatesthatsomeonehassteppedoffit.Thenextday,Ryernoticessignificantclimateandothersmallchangesaroundhim.Onthenextexpedition,RyerandanewpartyoftouristsarrivetoslaytheAllosaurus.Astheywaitforthecreaturetoemerge,Ryercheckshiswatch,realizesitislateandthattheAllosaurusshouldhavealreadyarrived.Instead,theyfindithasalreadydied.Furthermore,thevolcano,whichissupposedtoeruptaftertheexplorersreturntothefuture,isalreadyintheprocessoferupting.TheFederalagencythatoverseestemporaltravelopensaninvestigationandshutsdownTimeSafariinordertoreviewprotocols.RyerseeksoutSoniaRand(CatherineMcCormack),theoriginaldeveloperofthetimetraveltechnologyandthecomputer(TAMI)thatcontrolsthejumps.ShebelievesthatTimeSafariisessentiallyplayingwithfireandsheeschewsherpreviousassociationwithcompany.Becausethepasthasbeenchanged,aseriesoftimewavessweepacrossthepresent.ThefirstwaveproduceschangesthatdrivethetwofromRand'sapartment.Randexplainsthatthesequenceofchangeswillnottakeeffectatonce,butinsteadwillspreadoutlikeaseriesofripplesonthesurfaceofwater.Moreover,theywillproceedinorderofevolution:firstthenon-livingphysicalenvironmentwillreset,thenthevegetationwillchange,thenwildlife,andfinallyhumans.Undersupervisionofthetemporalagency,TimeSafarisendsRyerbacktofixthepastwithRand'shelp.Whenhearrives,hediscoversheisintheAmericanSouthwestandabouttobetrampledbyanApachetribeonhorseback.Ryerducksoutoftheway,butseesthatanothertimewaveisabouttohit.Heleapsthroughthewormhole,butjustasheexits,thewavehits,causingallpowerintheTimeSafarifacilitytogoout.Whenback-uppowerisrestored,thebuildingandthecityarecoveredindensevegetation.Oneofthescientists,Payne(DavidOyelowo),discoversthattheteamarrivedjustoveragramheavierthanwhentheyleft.ItisalsodiscoveredthatHattonhasbribedagovernmentadministratortoallowtheshutdownofacostly"biofilter,"whichscreensoutthetransferoforganicmatter.Theteamleavesthecompanybuildingandfindthetwoclientsbattlingbaboon/dinosaurandbat/pterodactylre-evolvedhybridcreaturesaswellaspredatoryplants.Theylearnthatoneofthetouristssteppedonabutterfly,bringingitbacktothepresent,andcriticallyalteringtheevolutionoflife.Anothertimewavehitsjustbeforetheyreachthetimeportal.Findingitnolongerworks,theydecidetotrytogettoauniversitypossessingaparticleaccelerator,whichcanbemodifiedtofunctionasatimemachine.Eventually,onlyRyerandRandareleftalive.RandmanagestosendRyerback65,000,001yearstododgethetimewaves,afterwhichheissentforwardoneyeartothepointwhentheoriginalexplorerstraveledintothepast.Inthepresent,thefinaltimewavehitsandRandisturnedintoacatfish-likehumanoid.RyertellsJenny(JemimaRooper)abouteverythingthatwillhappeninthefuture.Hestopsthetouristfromsteppingoffthepathandkillingthebutterfly,andthusthefutureissaved.Backinthepresent,JennygivesRyerthevideoofthealternateRyerwhosavedthefuture.HevisitsRandtoshowherthevideo,hopingthattogethertheywillbeabletoputthetimecompanyoutofbusiness.希望帮到你啦~
